About Wytness

Built in Melbourne, Australia. Microsoft Partner. Vendor-neutral by design.

why this exists

Somebody has to answer for what the agent did.

AI agents are doing real work now — moving money, drafting contracts, reading records. When one goes wrong, "I think it did X, based on these JSON logs" is not an answer a regulator, an auditor, or a board will accept. Observability tools serve engineers; compliance platforms don't go deep on agents; Microsoft's AGT gives engineers the primitives but gives compliance teams nothing. Wytness is the product layer on AGT, plus what AGT deliberately leaves out: customer-held keys, per-event signing, bring-your-own-storage, and auditor-ready exports.

the pivot

Why we build on AGT

We started Wytness 1.0 in late 2025 with our own SDK, signing layer, and hash chain. In April 2026 Microsoft shipped better versions of all three, free, under MIT. Competing with Microsoft on cryptographic primitives is a losing battle, so we build on top and aim at what they aren't doing: vendor-neutral compliance for buyers not anchored to the Microsoft stack. The product itself runs on Azure, AWS, GCP, and on-premise.
